Senior Software Development Engineer in Test / Sr. – Automation Tester

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions as an individual contributor, adhering to coding standards and best practices.
Design, architect, and implement frameworks to support scalable and maintainable software applications.
Utilize expertise in Python, SQL, pytest, and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks to deliver robust solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications and actionable tasks.
Employ project management tools such as Jira and Confluence for effective task tracking, documentation, and collaboration.
Integrate Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines into the development process to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
Utilize experience with Jenkins to automate build, test, and deployment processes, optimizing development workflows.
Manage version control systems (VCS) like GitHub and Bitbucket to facilitate code collaboration, branching, merging, and versioning.
Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve development processes and solutions.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
6-7 years of relevant experience in software development, with a focus on building frameworks and solutions.
Proficiency in Python, SQL, pytest, and BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, Behave).
Strong understanding of project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines integration and automation.
Hands-on experience with Jenkins for build, test, and deployment automation.
Proficient in using version control systems like GitHub and Bitbucket.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
